I am allergic to almost everything
according to my doctor. We did the $350 allergy test, the 2 shots per week, the multitude of pills, etc. Usually before going
to bed I pop in a NASAL D so I can breath through the night and hope for a good night's sleep.
Donna and I
planned to go to Florida for 3 weeks and visit our daughter Maria. She invites us to her house, but because of my allergies,
her 3 cats, and the Florida mold getting to me, we got a motel after a short while.
Well a couple of days before
we left for Florida, my sister-in-law, Dianne loaned us an Air Source 3000 so we could try it at my daughter's house.
We plugged it in and within a couple of hours
I could feel the difference already.
I usually breath
through my mouth because of my deviated septum and my plugged sinus's, but my wife noticed I became a nose breather! We
went to bed and I didn't need a Nasal D for once. I slept like a baby, the best night's sleep I've had in a long
time! My throat wasn't dry like usual when I woke up, so I must have been NOSE BREATHING instead of mouth breathing while
I slept soundly also. The first thing I told my
wife was, Dianne was not getting this one back no matter what it cost
me!
We brought it to Florida and we stayed 3 weeks at my daughter's house with the 3 cats, 2 crabs and our
dog. I slept good and I didn't notice the cats. My daughter also has allergies. She is pregnant with twins and had to
stop her allergy shots. She hacked and coughed a lot because of her cats, but after a few days, that almost quit. She ended
up keeping that unit and immediately I told my wife to call and order another unit so we had it when I got home.
The Air Source 3000 is more like an AIR SOURCE 3 MILLION as far as I am concerned! I don't know how or why it works
but it sure works great!!!

Subject: AS MOBILE TESTIMONY - SMALL BUT MIGHTY!!
I am really amazed how well that little
mobile unit works. (My husband) Don cleaned the woodstove in the basement and it had a back draft and the smell of smoke came
in the house--yuk!
I thought well I'll see if the little unit could take care of it.
I put it down there
before we had dinner and went down afterwards
and THERE WAS NO ODOR!! - I WAS IMPRESSED!!
Right now I have
it in one of our bedrooms with the door closed--
it smells so fresh in there. I'm anxious to try it in the car on
the way downstate tomorrow.
We will also use it in our bedroom at our son's house.
He does have
an A/S 3000, but we will keep our door closed, and he has 2 Doberman's plus our 2 dogs will be there.
The
last time we tried to stay overnight there, we had to leave and go to my parents (that was before they moved to Alma and before
they had their AirSource)--so hopefully we can stay
there now. Don had trouble with breathing, so we had to leave. We
thought it was the dogs, but they also had all kinds of candles lit, and I think it was that more than anything.

Subject: AirSource Mobile Testimony
My AirSource
3 pak came at the end of last week, but I hadn't had a chance to try it out until Monday. I had to make a 40 minute drive
for an eye doctor appointment. I had a case of scented candles in the back of the van, that our daughter had sold to help
Special Olympics. That many scents all mixed together really bothers me, so took my Mobile unit along. I plugged it into the
cigarette lighter and took off. I couldn't hear anything, so didn't think it was working. Right off the
bat,
I got behind a car with really stinky exhaust. That plus the candles, my eyes and nose were burning, so I was sure it wasn't
working. I felt down the side and realized I had forgotten to turn it on!!!
Well, I turned it on, and still didn't
hear anything, so figured I'd gotten a dud or something. Since I was driving, I couldn't really check it out, so just
kept on going. Within just a few minutes, I realized that it had to be working as I started smelling that "fresh air"
smell that we get from the AirSource 3000. I left it on in the car until I got home and then brought it in the house. The
next day when I got in the car to drive my daughter to deliver the (scented Special Olympic)candles which were still in the
back of the car, all I could smell was the clean fresh air from the day before!!! Before we delivered the
candles, I
opened one of the candle jars to make sure they still had scent. Inside, the jar, the scent was still quite strong, so the
AirSource had just de-scented the boxes!!! Needless to say, I am thrilled with my Mobile AirSource!

Oct. 16, 2002 - There is a different kind of
threat in American schools, and it's coming from the inside. Toxic mold is a growing problem that could prove hazardous
to your child's health
It's an unwelcome intruder in your child's school: mold. Some call it the "new
asbestos," a trigger for respiratory illnesses, headaches and asthma.
"There are studies that show that
schools that have increased moisture and increased molds, in those schools the kids have increased asthma," says Dr.
Jordan Fink.
The risks from mold are forcing kids out of their classrooms for weeks at a time.
In Bristol,
Tenn., 1,100 students and teachers were detoured to the famed NASCAR Bristol Motor Speedway for classes while Sullivan East
High was decontaminated.
In Wilmington, N.C., there is mold growth that sadly isn't a science project.
Experts say certain types of mold are especially dangerous. Molds give off tiny toxic spores that are inhaled. Some doctors
now call the symptoms, "mold syndrome."
Mold thrives in moist places and is often lurking in ceiling
tiles, ventilation systems and within porous drywall. Disinfectants are usually not enough to deal with it. Replacing walls
and ceilings may be the only remedy.
Wednesday morning, in Deerfield, Wis., Laurie Steen was getting the kids off
to their newly decontaminated elementary school. She pushed for testing after teachers felt ill and suspected mold.
"We tested and found it in four classrooms and the library," says Steen.
The cleanup cost nearly $25,000.
"It was more serious than we originally thought," says Christopher Hibner, principal at Deerfield Elementary.
"Honestly, we didn't feel we had a mold problem."
The government says no one is tracking how many
schools have mold problems but the Environmental Protection Agency says 10,000 schools have already adopted its guidelines
for mold prevention and cleanup.
At Bristol, the cleanup is expected to go another six weeks before students at
the so-called "NASCAR High" are back on track
What you need to know about mold.
Facts about
mold
Outdoors, molds play a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees,
but indoors, mold growth should be avoided. Molds reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible to the naked
eye and float through outdoor and indoor air. Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet.
There are many types of mold, and none of them will grow without water or moisture.
Health concerns
Molds
have the potential to cause a variety of health problems. Molds produce allergens, irritants, and in some cases, potentially
toxic substances. Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions, such as hay fever symptoms, in some
sensitive people. Molds can also cause asthma attacks in people with asthma who are allergic to mold. In addition, mold exposure
can irritate the eyes, skin, nose, throat, and lungs of both mold-allergic and non-allergic people. Certain molds - best known
is stachybotrys - have the potential to produce extremely potent toxins that can cause problems ranging from sinus infections
to lung hemorrhage to brain damage.
How do I get rid of mold?
Once you have discovered the source of mold,
size it up. If you have more than a square foot of mold growth you should seek professional advice on how to perform the cleanup.
Otherwise, the experts offer these tips:
§ Correct the source of the water and fix all roof or plumbing leaks.
§ Clean all moldy surfaces with a mixture of household bleach (like Clorox) and water, using 1 cup of bleach
per gallon of water.
§ Add a little dish soap to the bleach water to cut dirt and oil on the wall that can
hold mold.
§ With good ventilation, apply the bleach water mix to the surface with a sponge, let it sit for
15 minutes, then thoroughly dry the surface.
§ Be sure to wear a dust mask, rubber gloves and open lots of
windows.
§ If you have a bad mold problem, you may need to replace tiles, wet carpets, sheet rock and floorboards
- and clean out crawl spaces.
§ No one with any respiratory ailments or chronic allergies should conduct
the cleanup.
§ Call your city or county health department if you have questions or need assistance.

A lot of our
fellow team21 friends wanted information about our AirSource process and what were we doing that was creating such success
and growth in our organization. They wanted to know how we have sold so many units and how we were able to recruit 10 other

The last thing that I put in the notebook is the survey form. I put each page in a plastic page protector and put it in a
paper notebook that has three fold down tabs that hold the pages in place. I had the pages printed on a color lazer printer
for better quality.
I have found that three days is not enought time for the AirSource to really do the job. Also,
most people do not have time to complete many (if any) of the tests in just three days. I have had a much higher close rate
and better success with them doing the tests and writing their comments on the test paper when I leave the unit for a two
week EVALUATION.
That is a brief overview as to the tools and systems we are using to create success in our AirSource
business. This is also a process that we are using with our Shaklee business
(the prospecting process is almost identical).
The information that we share and our leave behind information is obviously different but the principals are the same.

Subject: Why replace AS module
A personal testimony for the my 1 year old Air Source 3000
–after replacing the Photohydroionization Module.
We have had our Air Source 3000 for a year on the 6th of
Oct. Now mind you, we have a high traffic house! We have 2700 sq feet, but 5 people living in the house all the time (plus
1 away at college), 2 cats and a dog. On a VERY regular basis, we also have multiple teens in and out as 2 of the 5 at home
are high school teenagers with lots of friends.
For the 2 or 3 weeks before the anniversary date, I didn't
think it was working as well as it used to. I noticed that cooking odors didn't dissipate as quickly as they previously
had. So I was very happy when we were notified that the modules were available for order and placed my
order right away.
It came on Friday and Dick replaced the module. Within an hour, I could tell the difference!
Tonight (Sat.) we
were at a wedding reception at the LaGrange Country Club. Our children were sitting at a table near the kitchen, which was
also nearer to the lobby area on the second floor. After the dinner, our daughter came over to the table where we were and
I could smell
cigarette smoke on her clothes! Smokers had to go out into the lobby area to smoke. As we exited the building,
the smoke smell out there was VERY strong. (So, any of you who live in a city area that has a country club --those would be
GOOD places to contact about the bigger unit that will be available early in 2003. I understand it has a cartridge especially
made to handle smoke odors.) Just the little that we were exposed to the smoke, my head started stuffing up and I was getting
a scratchy throat. On the drive home, I kept thinking I'd have to be sure to take some Defend & Resist Complex when
we got home or I'd be sick by morning. When we got home and walked into our house, I noticed immediately the FRESH AIR!!!
I just wanted to--and did--stand here and breath!!! Now, 45 minutes after returning home, my head and lungs are clear and
the scratchy throat is gone. THANK YOU AIR SOURCE!!! Next year, I'll know when the module needs to be replaced. I think
because of our high traffic, we could have replaced it a couple of weeks early.

Subject: Air Source 3000 will remove mercury in small dentist office
I've had an AirSource unit
for trial in my dentist's office for approx. 3 weeks. Normally I only leave a unit for a week but he's been on vacation
and when he's in the office his waiting room is packed and I just haven't matched up with him. I have talked several
times with his technician; however I decided I needed more "ammunition" to convince my dentist that he needs the
unit.
This morning I called A-S counseling to ask if the A-S 3000 removes mercury from the air. The answer was
YES, although it has not been clinically tested for mercury. Mercury is a particle larger than 2 microns which is not visible
to the naked eye. The A-S 3000 removes particles less than 1 micron in size, even as small as 0.01 micron in size. Negatively
charged particles clump with positively charged particles such as mercury, dust, pollen, mold spores, other chemicals or gasses--to
form heavy neutral particles which fall to the floor.
These pollutants are removed from the breathing space and can
be vacuumed or wiped up.
The counselor said that the A-S would also remove any stray (nitrous oxide?) gas from
the air. I asked him about the new commercial unit coming out because it is to have a mercury cartridge for dental offices.
My dentist's office is very small and the commercial unit is for very large offices. The counselor said that all my dentist
needs is the A-S 3000.

Hi Dubi,
We love the Air Source!!!
The night you dropped it off we went and met friends at a smokey
pub. A lot of times I will come home and take a shower to get the smoke out of my hair, because I am allergic to it (And it
smells terrible..)
I woke up in the AM and realized that my hair didn't smell anymore and I didn't have
the normal headache I do after being exposed to smoke.
I also haven't taken my prescription allergy medicine
since that weekend and have been fine. I have taken it 2x a day practically since the spring this year.
Even with

Protection Agency 's Draft Final Report," Healthy Buildings, Healthy People: A Vision for the 21st Century "
is a call to action for us all to work together to improve the indoor environment. The risks associated with poor indoor air
quality-asthma, cancer, reproductive and development problems, and other health effects-are explained in the following Chapter
1 of the Report.
ASTHMA
An estimated 27 million Americans suffer from asthma (U.S. EPA 1999). In addition,
about 5,000 deaths occur yearly from asthma-an increase of 33 percent in the last decade (Mannino et al. 1998). Consequently,
the social and economic costs are large. Among chronic diseases, asthma is the number one cause of absenteeism from school
(Pope et al. 1993). Asthma cost an estimated $6.2 billion in the United States in 1990, including direct medical and indirect
non-medical costs combined. An update of this figure would fall in the range of $7 to $9 billion in 1998 dollars (Weiss et
al. 1992).
Some groups in this country (e.g., children, certain minorities, seniors, and low-income, urban populations)
are disproportionately affected by asthma. An estimated 1.8 million people required emergency room services for asthma in
1995. Mortality rates associated with asthma among African-Americans, as a whole, are two- to three-fold higher than those
among whites. Mortality rates for African-American children are fivefold higher than those for their white peers (Mannino
et al. 1998). While research has not yet explained the rise in the incidence of asthma, nor all the reasons why individuals
first contract it, there is general agreement that controlling indoor exposures is
an important protective measure (NAS
2000).
Recently the National Academy of Sciences/Institute of Medicine issued a report on asthma and indoor air
quality, confirming that dust mites and other allergens, microorganisms, and some chemicals found indoors are triggers for
asthma. In addition, the report stated there was sufficient evidence regarding associations between ETS, in preschool-aged
children, and house dust mites and the development of asthma (NAS 2000). ETS may significantly aggravate symptoms of asthma
for 200,000 children and may affect as many as 1,000,000 children to some extent (U.S. EPA 1992).
CANCER
A number of indoor contaminants, such as asbestos, radon, tobacco smoke, and benzene, are known human carcinogens. Other
indoor contaminants, such as certain chlorinated solvents, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, aldehydes, and pesticides, are
considered likely to cause cancer in humans.
The National Academy of Sciences, in its latest report on radon health
science (NAS 1998), concluded that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the country. NAS has estimated that
about 12 percent of the lung cancer deaths in the United States are linked to radon. They calculate the number of lung cancer
cases attributable to radon exposure to range from 15,000 to 22,000 annually.
Environmental tobacco smoke is estimated
to cause an additional 3,000 lung cancer deaths in nonsmokers each year (U.S. EPA 1992). Other forms of cancer have also been
found to be associated with indoor pollutants (e.g., leukemia with benzene; bladder cancer with ETS).
REPRODUCTIVE
AND DEVELOPMENTAL EFFECTS
During the period 1991 to 1994, almost 900,000 children had elevated blood levels, which
can cause a variety of developmental delays, including effects on intelligence quotient (IQ); vision, hearing and stature
deficits; and learning disabilities (U.S. DHHS 1997a). Several studies indicate that common indoor pollutants such as lead
and ETS can also impair fetal development. A California report estimates that 9,700 to 18,600 cases of low birth weight in
infants are caused each year by ETS (NCI 1999).
Many other environmental agents, including a number of chemicals
commonly found indoors (e.g., tobacco smoke, some pesticides, lead and other heavy metals, alcohols, and plastic additives),
are suspected of causing developmental toxicity in humans (U.S. EPA 1991a, NCI 1999). Endocrine disruptors (e.g., certain
pesticides and plasticizers), which affect the normal function of sex and thyroid hormones, present a new area of concern
for reproductive toxicity. Adverse effects on a developing child may result from exposure prior to conception in either parent,
exposure during pregnancy, or post-natal exposure. These effects range from low birth weight to genetic diseases to lower
IQs and infertility.
While the proportion of reproductive and developmental effects due to indoor environmental
factors is currently unknown, the impact could be serious. Approximately 3 percent of newborn children have one or more significant
malformations at birth. By age one, about 3 percent more are recognized to have serious developmental defects. Lifetime health-care
costs for children born each year with birth defects are estimated to be more than $8 billion.
OTHER HEALTH EFFECTS
Indoor environments can cause or amplify many other health effects as well. The American Heart Association estimates
that 35,000 to 40,000 cardiovascular deaths per year among nonsmokers can be attributed to ETS exposure (Taylor et al. 1991).
Recent studies have shown that, compared to those who had not been exposed, ETS was associated with a 20 percent increase
in the progression of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) (Howard et al. 1998). Carbon monoxide (CO) poising associated
with the improper use and maintenance of fuel-burning appliances kills more than 200 people per year in this country and results
in about 10,000 admissions to hospital emergency rooms for treatment (U.S. CPSC 1997). An additional 600 to 700 accidental
deaths from CO poisoning occur indoors from other sources, including automobiles (Cobb and Etzel 1991). The agent for Legionnaires'
disease, a potentially deadly pneumonia which affects 10,000 to15, 000 people each year, is associated with cooling systems,
whirlpool baths, humidifiers, food market vegetable misters, and other indoor sources, including residential tap water (EPA
et al. 1994; U.S. DHHS 1997b). Effects associated with toxins from indoor fungi and bacteria range from short-term irritation
to immunosuppression and cancer (EPA et al. 1994).
Studies show that symptoms of sick building syndrome (SBS)
may be caused or intensified by indoor environmental problems (U.S. EPA 1991b, U.S. EPA et al. 1994). The term "sick
building syndrome," first employed in the 1970s, described a spectrum of specific and nonspecific complaints reported
by a population of building occupants. These symptoms can be associated with their presence in the building. These complaints
may also result from causes other than SBS, including illness contracted outside the building, acute sensitivity (e.g., allergies),
job-related stress or dissatisfaction, and other factors. Data are insufficient to thoroughly evaluate many SBS problems.

My mom is a heavy smoker and her home always smells. She has three air purifiers in various locations which run
24 hours a day in her 1600 square foot home. One is a hospital grade hepa filter, one an ionizer, and the other a combination
ionizer and ultraviolet light. The hepa needs to be vacuumed regularly and have an expensive filter replacement regularly
(if you can remember when to do it and where to get it), the ionizer, which has to have an internal part removed and cleaned
with a toothbrush and ammonia and water, had to be returned and repaired three times when we first bought it due to a faulty
part and noise problems and finally we run it without the automatic function because it is too temperamental. The combination
ionizer/ultraviolet light system does help with the smell, but required an electrical installation and, of course, works best
if you remember to change the filter within the air-conditioning intake vent where the unit is installed.
Thus
enter the Air Source! We turned on the Air Source and shut all the others off. That was it. We came back in four hours to
a house that smelled cleaner than with all the other machines. No need to clean the machine, no filter to change, no dials,
bells or whistles to adjust. No black walls. One on/off button and a light bulb change once a year. The three machines had
cost a total of $1470 and together did not do what the Air Source accomplished in just 4 hours! Not to mention looking like

(Reuters) - Women exposed to air pollution during pregnancy are more likely to give birth to children with heart defects,
researchers reported on Saturday.
They said their study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, is the first
definitively to link air pollution with birth defects. "There seems to be something in the air that can harm developing
fetuses," Beate Ritz, an epidemiologist who headed the study, said in a statement. The team, at the University of California
Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Public Health and the California Birth Defects Monitoring Program, said the two pollutants they
measured were carbon monoxide and ozone -- produced by the city's well-known traffic jams. "The greater a woman's
exposure to one of these two pollutants in the critical second month of pregnancy, the greater the chance that her child would
have one of these serious cardiac birth defects," Ritz said. "More research needs to be done, but these results
present the first compelling evidence that air pollution may play a role in causing some birth defects." Ritz's team
compared air pollution monitoring data from the Environmental Protection Agency with information from the California Birth
Defects Monitoring Program -- a statewide database on birth defects. They looked at 9,000 babies born from 1987 to 1993. Pregnant
women who were exposed to the highest levels of ozone and carbon monoxide because their homes were close to busy freeways
were three times as likely to have a child with certain heart defects as women breathing the cleanest air. The defects they
found were specific -- conotruncal heart defects, pulmonary artery/valve defects and aortic artery/valve defects, which can
require open-heart surgery to save the baby. No other birth defects were linked with the pollution.
SOMETHING
ELSE COULD BE THE CULPRIT
The researchers said it was not certain carbon monoxide and ozone were directly causing the
defects. They could be a "marker" -- something associated with the real cause. "We're not sure carbon monoxide
is the culprit because it could be just a marker for something else in tailpipe exhaust," Gary Shaw of the California
Birth Defects Monitoring Program said in a statement. "The fact that certain heart defects are turning up in the second
month of pregnancy when hearts are being formed suggests something serious may be happening." Ritz said fine particles
may be to blame. "We did a small study that showed ultrafine particles correlate extremely well with carbon monoxide,"
she said in a telephone interview. "When you move away from a freeway, 100 feet, 200 feet, you see the number of particles
decrease very steeply. So does carbon monoxide." She said other researchers had shown that these ultrafine particles,
which also come out of the tailpipes of cars, can carry toxic chemicals such as quinones and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons
(PAHs). "They become a great delivery device for toxic agents," Ritz said. The same goes for ozone, which is generated
when the sun cooks polluted air. The same process generates other chemicals, which are not measured. "It's easy as
a knee-jerk reaction to say 'Let's get ozone down, let's get carbon monoxide down.' But if you are not doing
anything to the other toxins, you might be on the wrong boat," Ritz said. Ritz said it also occurred to her that people
living near freeways may also be poorer or have worse health in general, but said she factored that in. Some of the affected
neighborhoods were actually very wealthy,she said. She also looked at ethnicity and education level of the mothers and found
no differences in the correlation between pollution and birth defects. But she said they were unable to evaluate other potential
risk factors for birth defects, including smoking, occupational exposures, vitamin supplement
use, diet and obesity.

I am allergic to almost everything
according to my doctor. We did the $350 allergy test, the 2 shots per week, the multitude of pills, etc. Usually before going
to bed I pop in a NASAL D so I can breath through the night and hope for a good night's sleep.
Donna and I
planned to go to Florida for 3 weeks and visit our daughter Maria. She invites us to her house, but because of my allergies,
her 3 cats, and the Florida mold getting to me, we got a motel after a short while.
Well a couple of days before
we left for Florida, my sister-in-law, Dianne loaned us an Air Source 3000 so we could try it at my daughter's house.
We plugged it in and within a couple of hours
I could feel the difference already.
I usually breath
through my mouth because of my deviated septum and my plugged sinus's, but my wife noticed I became a nose breather! We
went to bed and I didn't need a Nasal D for once. I slept like a baby, the best night's sleep I've had in a long
time! My throat wasn't dry like usual when I woke up, so I must have been NOSE BREATHING instead of mouth breathing while
I slept soundly also. The first thing I told my

up keeping that unit and immediately I told my wife to call and order another unit so we had it when I got home.
The Air Source 3000 is more like an AIR SOURCE 3 MILLION as far as I am concerned! I don't know how or why it works
but it sure works great!!!

Deadly
dust: Particles in air linked to cancer, heart disease.
Years of exposure to air with high concentrations of soot
and dust significantly increases the risk of dying from lung cancer and heart disease, comparable to living with a smoker,
researchers report. "These particles are even more toxic than we had thought," said George Thurston, associate professor
of environmental medicine at New York University's School of Medicine and co-author of the new study.
"This
is the strongest confirmation yet that controlling fine particles should be a high priority in cleaning up our air,"
Thurston said.
The study, to be published today in The Journal of the American Medical Association, involved some
500,000 adults whose health was tracked between 1982 and 1998 as part of a cancer study.
The data were linked
to air pollution levels in 116 cities nationwide, taking into account individual risk factors such as age, smoking status,
weight and diet, as well as regional differences in the study populations.
Researchers found that the number of
lung-cancer deaths increased by 8 percent for each 10 micrograms of fine particulate matter measured in a cubic meter of air.
Larger particles and gaseous pollutants were generally found not be as great of a health risk.
Other research has shown
that exposure to air pollution can change heart rhythms in those with existing cardiac problems, and epidemiologists have
estimated that particulates cause some 10,000 fatal heart attacks a year in the United States.
While the increased
risk was less than that connected to active cigarette smoking, "we found that the risk of dyiing from lung cancer as
well as heart disease in the most polluted cities was comparable to the risk associated with non-smokers being exposed to
second-hand smoke over a long period of time," said Arden Pope, an economics professor at Brigham Young University in
Provo, Utah, and co-leader of the study.
Other members of the research team were from the University of Ottawa
and the American Cancer Society. Pope also led an earlier study that followed the same group of people for seven years but
incorporated less background information on their health habits. The study not only used less extensive air pollution data,
but it looked at air pollution in just 50 cities.
"This is a much more statistically powerful study, and
it largely confirms what the earlier research showed," Thurston said. "What didn't show up in the earlier data
was the connection between this pollution and lung cancer, probably because of the long time it takes for lung cancer to develop."
Health dangers of tiny particulate matter have been a source of intense controversy since 1997, when the Environmental
Protection Agency issued new regulations tightening standards to cover particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers in diameter
(a human hair is 75 to 100 micrometers thick).
EPA officials set annual average limits on fine particulates at
15 micrograms of the material per cubic meter, but have yet to issue final rules on how the standards will be enforced. Industry
challenges in court have so far been rejected.
Individuals can't do much to protect themselves from small
particulate pollution other than to stay indoors as much as possible on heavily polluted days, use an indoor air filter and
try to control household sources of dust.
Major sources of the pollution are fuel combustion from motor vehicles,
power plants and industrial facilities and residential fireplaces and wood stoves.

I have been sparing in sending

really caught my eye as being particularly remarkable. What do you think?
Here's an observation. When we are
doing the in-home trials of the units, take about ten minutes at the beginning, and go over just a little information about
air quality and why cleaning up our air is important, whether a person feels a great effect from the unit or not. Sensitivities
to pollutants vary, but in the same way we supplement to avoid future problems, so also it is prudent to breathe clean air.
If we specifically point that out to our prospective customers, their buying decision will less likely to hinge on whether
they feel a remarkable difference immediately. I take vitamin E to avoid heart disease later in my life. We can use the same,
correct logic get people "happily involved" with AirSource.

Mold disappears
in basement
In response to this concern, I would like to share a personal testimony to the benefits of our AirSource
unit regarding mold.
I live in a 79 year-old home that is built over a basement. For many years I have noticed
a bit of black 'stuff' creeping up around the base of the walls in my basement. I tried several cleaning solutions
that temporarily got rid of it, but it always came back. After reading some of the health problems this mold may cause, I
began to get concerned.
Enter AirSource. Although, I am a Shaklee director, I did not get involved in AirSource
even though I was excited about, and interested in the technology that was offered. I did purchase a unit for my personal
home use.
I brought the unit home, and plugged it in (it had already been 'seasoned') in my basement at
11:00 pm on a Sunday night. Went to work the next day, and then about 7:00 pm went down to the basement to do a load of laundry.
I don't know why I was surprised, as I am a total Shaklee believer, but I was completely AMAZED! In less than 24 hours
the black had turned gray. It was almost as if you could watch the mold dying right before your eyes! Two days later (may
have been
sooner--that was just the next time I was in the basement!) I was able to sweep up the dead 'mold dust'
along with the 'paint dust' that the mold had eaten through, to reveal the cleanest basement I have been able to get
in the 10 years that I have lived in this lovely old home!
I am most pleased with these results, as well as the
lessening of the basement's musty odor that went along with the mold. It is always confirming to have the results that

I got bad headaches at first. First although the unit only produces tiny amounts of ozone you might be sensitive to
it. Don't keep the unit right next to where you are.
Secondly, your house may have mold or bacteria that the
unit is killing. If you smell the odor in a certain room, lock that room down until the odor is completely gone and the air
smells like after a rain. In my house it took 3 weeks in one bathroom. We could see the mold, but had no idea it was bad until
our neighbors home cultured out stachybotres. Our house may have had simple mold, but the odor was intense and I closed the
room off and put towels under the door. I checked every couple days
until the room smelled terrific.
Third,
the way the AirSource makes its peroxide molecules can dry the air. This is great in our humid south in the summer, but in
the winter get the humidifier going. Your headache could be from dry mucous membranes.

Consumer Reports did an article

Breeze Quadra Silent Air Purifier, proved unimpressive in our tests. Ads for this unit tout its silence and miserly power
consumption. Both are attributable to its lack of a fan. But so is its disappointing performance; we found almost no measurable
reduction in airborne particles."
The new product from Sharper Image talks of its ability to kill airborne
bacteria, mold and viruses as they enter the unit! EXACTLY -- "as they enter the unit" -- with a report on how the

Here's my Air Source testimony .
NO HEADACHES
About a year ago I was introduced to an Ozone unit for my home to try for 3 days. So I tried it.
After 1 day I had the most horrible headache. I use to get headaches regularly before taking Shaklee, and since Shaklee,
I had forgotten what it was like to have a headache all day. I couldn't figure out what was making me feel so terrible.
The next day my husband said that the unit was smelling terrible. So we called the gentleman to come check our

AirSource Excitement!
In the three weeks since receiving our AirSource 3000 Prototype we have conducted 16 meetings
and I have traveled over 5,000 miles to introduce AirSource to as many as possible, before we depart to attend the Shaklee
International Leadership Convention in London.
The response to AirSource has been has been overwhelming. We are
going to help a lot of people with this New Technology. I don't have time to carefully write this letter as we will be
leaving in a few minutes for the airport and the ILC. I hope you will be able to grasp why I am so excited. Here is but a
sample of what I have experienced...
My oldest son, Tom, came to his first meeting ever. He was sitting near the
AirSource 3000. He raised his hand during the meeting and stated, " I have been stuffed-up with a headache for days.
My sinuses just opened up and my headache just went away. I don't know how this thing works, but I want a piece of this
opportunity! He has already held his first AirSource meeting and is committed to building a business.
My 2nd oldest
son, Craig, experienced similar results. I spent the weekend at their home in Alabama. His family had an opportunity to have
AirSource 3000 in their home for two+ days. On Monday morning he was up early working in his office. His office is in a area
of his home that does not share the air where the AirSource 3000 had been cleaning the air. I visited with him, in his office,
for about twenty minutes when I noticed I was getting stuffed up and was getting a headache and I mentioned that to Craig.
He responded I'm always stuffed up with a headache. He stood up, said I haven't had this problem all weekend. He went
into the house area and brought AirSource 3000 into the office. In less than thirty minutes we were breathing easy with no
head aches. Craig took the rest of the day off so he could ride with me to my next meeting in Tennessee. Two days later he
called to report that he had just looked up at the ceiling and saw that the filter he had changed the previous!

if it would be alright for him to give a testimonial. He said the he is now regularly on oxygen, and was using it all the
way to the meeting. He stated that he had taken it off to enter the room. As soon as he came through the door he knew the
air in the room was different. I can breathe this air... and I can do this!
I had a meeting with a couple, at
their table, in the kitchen area with AirSource on the counter behind me and a fragrance candle burning farther behind me.

Zoe and Bob Dufour noticed large chunks of white

We are in the right place at the right time. There are loads of new faces at these meetings. For those
of you that would like to build both businesses, consider starting every Health Home presentation with an introduction of
AirSource. Then pass a sign sheet for the guests that would like to have you arrange for their "free AirSource in home
trial". Those that join to market AirSource will have to get on our nutrition program just to keep up.
Start
thinking big, then expand to thinking bigger. Make a list of the busy people you already know that also would be interested
in being in the right place at the right time. Many of the people that have provided you with services... realtors, insurance
etc. We have already had three doctors at our meetings one of which is ordering 36 to get started. He said doctors need clean
air to. These people will need to know more of the details but for everyone else, little explanation will be needed. When
they ask how does it work... respond VERY WELL! You JUST need to get AirSource into their homes for a trial SO THEY CAN SEE
FOR THEMSELVES. No everyone will see the sea part or hear angles singing, but the overwhelming majority will not want to ever
be without their AirSource.
I will not be surprised if in September, the month AirSource is officially launched,
if our AirSource business surpasses the monthly volume of our Shaklee Business. The growing numbers are staggering. Be an
active part of our AirSource Force.

AIR PURIFICATION BY OXIDATION IN HVAC SYSTEMS

Germicidal UV light, ozone, ions, hydroxyl radicals, catalytic
oxidation and now enhanced catalytic oxidation. Confused? Who wouldn't be. Let's try to understand the facts:
Ozone has been around since the late 1800's and has been used extensively in Europe as a disinfectant. It is also widely
being used in the United States for municipal potable water treatment, swimming pools and spas, odor and bacteria control,
and many other airborne disinfecting functions. Ozone is widely used in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry
for duct cleaning and disinfection, where it is very effective against mold, mildew, odors, bacteria and Legionnaire's
Disease. Municipal sewage plants use ozone to destroy sewer gases and odor control. The hotel industry has recognized its
benefits as a room sanitizer, and its ability to permanently remove smoke odors. The food industry also utilizes ozone for
mold, mildew, fungi and bacteria control on food products. All of the above uses of ozone have one thing in common, they are
all commercial uses requiring operator training and caution on excessive dosages of ozone.
Several years ago, a
few companies introduced ozone technology as an air purifier to be used in occupied homes. Ozone has been successfully used
in residences for many years by professional cleaning services, duct cleaning and disaster restoration companies. These professionals
utilize relatively high dosages of ozone to disinfect a sick house, destroy mold, mildew, fungi or smoke from fire damage.
Dosages in the 1 to 5 ppm range are typically used for this purpose; however, with dosages this high, the house has to be
evacuated. For many years, it was believed that ozone levels had to be over 1 ppm to be effective.1 Recent research has found
that while it is true that the level of 1 ppm to 5 ppm is necessary for sick buildings or professional disinfection, and at
these levels the rooms must be evacuated, it is also true that low level, or passive ozonation, when combined with hydroxyl
radicals (O3OHO), of indoor air can drastically reduce airborne contaminants such as bacterial, fungi and mold in addition
to odor control. Let's digress and discuss the basics of ozone, UV light and hydroxyl radicals.
a.. Ozone,
first discovered in 1840, received its name from the Greek work "Ozein", which means to smell.
b.. Ozone
is produced when oxygen molecules (O2) are split into two oxygen atoms (O1) while in the presence of other oxygen molecules.
These oxygen atoms (O1) then combine with molecular oxygen (O2) to yield ozone (O3). Ozone is always present in the Earth's
atmosphere. Ozone is generated naturally by short-wave solar ultraviolet radiation, and appears in our upper atmosphere (ozonosphere)
in the form of a gas. Ozone also may be produced naturally by passing an electrical discharge such as lightning through oxygen.
Ozone's third atom, the loosely held or "unstable" atom, has a strong tendency to break away and attach
itself to other substances. While the original ozone molecule reverts back to O2, the loose molecule attaches itself to a
new host substance and oxidizes it.
Ozone has been, perhaps, the most misunderstood "tool" available
to both the scientist and HVAC contractor. Partly due to the abuse of both the technology and the marketing, Ozone in the
United States has not been properly deployed.
OSHA and the FDA have established limits or at least "levels"
that are not only safe, but through extensive investigation, proven effective in the reduction of over 90% of airborne molds,
bacteria, fungus and pathogens. Uvc germicidal light as been used for decades in the medical and food industries to kill bacteria.
While UVc light successfully kills bacteria, it only does so when it is in direct contact with the light rays, and UVc has
little or no effect on odors. The combination of UVc light rays, moisture and ozone creates a hydroxyl radical, which is even
more powerful and many times faster than ozone as an oxidizer. Extensive media investigations have shown that responsible
deployment of ozone/hydroxyl radicals in occupied space (human and animal) will reduce the circulation and distribution of
dangerous airborne contaminates. When ozone/ hydroxyl radicals was injected into a veterinary hospital3 air conditioning system,
noticeable reduction of "odors" and pathogens was the result.
In the injection of ozone/hydroxyl radicals
in feline housing facilities, known as catteries, the instant serious reduction of "upper respiratory" diseases
was resultant. It is suggested that all veterinary hospital and animal boarding facilities deploy the "injection"
method to cover all air handling systems.
Ozone/Hydroxyl Radical injection is relatively simple. Depending on the
application cubic area, a small 3" O3OHO injection tube, or as much as an 18" O3OHO injection tube is available.
In a mixed application, requiring Uvc and ozone/hydroxyl radicals, special "spliced" injection tubes are now developed.
They provide both the UVc germicidal and ozone odor control benefits, safely and effectively. By selecting the correct injector
tube, levels of ozone remain under the 0.04 ppm level prescribed by authorities for occupied areas.
A small 3"
ECO tube can treat up to 2,500 sq. ft.
The combination of UVc, or germicidal UV combined with ozone and humidity,
creates hydroxyl radicals, a faster and stronger oxidizer than ozone. In addition ions are emitted to aid in dust removal.
This process is known as "catalytic oxidation". A recent discovery is the enhancement of the catalytic oxidation
process with a target of Titanium Dioxide compounds. The ECO process (enhanced catalytic oxidation) has the ability to reduce
ozone levels up to 50% while creating hydroxyl radicals and super oxide ions.
H2O + O3 + UVc = OHO
The
ECO process provides safe organic oxidation without elevated ozone levels. A soft ozone is created.
The ECO process
injection technique is fully compliant with NFPA and NEC and local codes. A special electronic power supply is installed either
in the electrical supply box, where the relays and HVAC controls are normally junctioned, or by mounting it to the outside
of same. A CLASS 2, CAT 5 cable connects the low voltage side to the injector plate. Normally a 6' cord trails from the
plate, and any distance up to 35' from the supply can be obtained by using extender cords. The injector unit is normally
affixed either by screw mount or foil tape. It should be mounted after the fan, in the plenum or the feeder duct.
With the ECO process injection system, it is easy to deploy more probes at any location additional support and treatment
is needed.
Indoor air pollution is now ranked as the nation's number one environmental health problem by the
EPA and Congress. Sick building stories are
commonplace, and asthma cases are increasing at an alarming rate. The need
for safe, responsible indoor air purification technologies is real. Using soft ozone/hydroxyl radicals responsibly is one
of the preferred technologies.
Summary
The use of safe, ECO Systems in occupied areas offers us the
following benefits:
· Elimination of household odors.
· Less colds and flus, which are
usually caught by indoor air transfer of germs and viruses.
· Lower incidents of food poisoning or food
spoilage.
· Longer shelf life of foods.
· Reduction of indoor air pollution for better
quality of air.
We breathe in approximately 23,000 times a day and intake 435 cubic feet of air per
day. Wouldn't it be nice if it was clean air!

AirSource Excitement!
In the
three weeks since receiving our AirSource 3000 Prototype we have conducted 16 meetings and I have traveled over 5,000 miles
to introduce AirSource to as many as possible, before we depart to attend the Shaklee International Leadership Convention
in London.
The response to AirSource has been has been overwhelming. We are going to help a lot of people with
this New Technology. I don't have time to carefully write this letter as we will be leaving in a few minutes for the airport
and the ILC. I hope you will be able to grasp why I am so excited. Here is but a sample of what I have experienced...
My oldest son, Tom, came to his first meeting ever. He was sitting near the AirSource 3000. He raised his hand during the
meeting and stated, " I have been stuffed-up with a headache for days. My sinuses just opened up and my headache just
went away. I don't know how this thing works, but I want a piece of this opportunity! He has already held his first AirSource
meeting and is committed to building a business.
My 2nd oldest son, Craig, experienced similar results. I spent
the weekend at their home in Alabama. His family had an opportunity to have AirSource 3000 in their home for two+ days. On
Monday morning he was up early working in his office. His office is in a area of his home that does not share the air where
the AirSource 3000 had been cleaning the air. I visited with him,
in his office, for about twenty minutes when I noticed
I was getting stuffed up and was getting a headache and I mentioned that to Craig. He responded I'm always stuffed up
with a headache. He stood up, said I haven't had this problem all weekend. He went into the house area and brought AirSource
3000 into the office. In less than thirty minutes we were breathing easy with no
headaches. Craig took the rest of the
day off so he could ride with me to my next meeting in Tennessee. Two days later he called to report that he had just looked
up at the ceiling and saw that the filter he had changed the previous week, on his office's air conditioner, was totally
covered with what looked like dryer lint. He said this has to be the result of the agglomeration of the millions microscopic
particles that the electron generator in AirSource makes possible. (This allows you, for the first time a means to get this
stuff completely out of your air.) Next Craig was asking if I could find a way to do a meeting for him on my way home on my
trip. I told him it would be a challenge as I had another meeting scheduled on Saturday morning right after I arrive home.
I held another meeting for Craig and then he rode back to Florida with me so that he could spend the weekend and fly home
with MY AirSource 3000 to launch his AirSource Business. Craig is already doing his own meetings and has set a goal to be

Driving hours to attend my meeting, a gentleman who was victimized by polio, drove his
wheel chair into the meeting room. After my presentation he raised his hand and ask if it would be alright for him to give
a testimonial. He said the he is now regularly on oxygen, and was using it all the way to the meeting. He stated that he had
taken it off to enter the room. As soon as he came through the door he knew the air in the room was different. I can breathe
this air... and I can do this!
I had a meeting with a couple, at their table, in the kitchen area with AirSource
on the counter behind me and a fragrance candle burning farther behind me. Soon after I began my presentation the lady said
it feels like a breeze just reached me and I can breathe. I have asthma and I can breathe. Her husband said I have asthma
and I can't. A few minutes later her husband
reported the breeze had just reached him and he to could breathe.
Near the end of the presentation we realized we could no longer smell the fragrance candle. (removes: smoke, odors, gases
and soot)
At one meeting a couple stated before the meeting started that they were having a problem breathing and
probably would not be able to stay for the whole presentation. They both had asthma. I suggested they sit as close to the
AirSource 3000 as possible. Early in the meeting the raised their hands and reported they could breathe again!
We
had a meeting in a motel that had changed hands since the last time the group met there. We found the conditions deplorable.
The meeting room was in the basement. The air conditioning was not working, hot, humid and very musty. Several guests said
they wouldn't be able to stay. I said let's try something. I plugged in the AirSource 3000 at the back of the room
on a serving cabinet. I asked everyone to stand in a semi circle as close to it as possible. One person had asthma. In minutes
everyone said they could tell the air was changing dramatically. We set up and had a successful meeting. The group leader
has started their AirSource Business.
At another presentation, a couple thought I was going to be teaching how
to do a Shaklee Healthy Home and was surprised when I told them I had to introduce them to a very hot new item. During the
presentation the father called for their three daughters to join in. A few minutes later the first one, then another and then
the third daughter said this air is easier to breathe. They are now starting their AirSource Business. At a large in home
meeting there were only two seats left when the last two guests arrived. The vacant seats were right next to AirSource 3000.
I believe in miracles and the Lord had saved the seats for them. You see they both suffer with Emphysema. They greeted me
with voices that were almost inaudible. During my presentation the gentleman raised his hand. He said he could breathe. Someone
from the back said "have him say it again... he can speak! He then raised his voice and said, I can breathe and speak.
His wife responded, I can too!
Zoe and Bob Dufour noticed large chunks of white dust all over their grand piano
after having AirSource in their home for only a few days. He said he got down on his knees and found it was all over there
floor. He had just come back from a AirSource training meeting in Dallas and knew what this was. What Bob saw was all the
microscopic dust particles that had been agglomerated out of the air. (These particles can be swept up or vacuumed without

Prototype Story
I recently had the good fortune to be able to borrow an AirSource 3000 prototype from our upline
Master Coordinators while they were at the ILC in London.Today I had an appointment to speak to the person in charge of sales
at a local Trane HVAC Parts Depot.I was invited to bring along the prototype unit, which I did, and had it in the conference
room as I presented to the two sales people.When the meeting was just about over, one of the salesmen asked if I "really
wanted to test the unit right now?"
I swallowed and said sure, "what does it entail?".
He took
me to a small room with a door (14' X 14') and said "I have a Digital Laser Particle Counter that has been certified
as a registered medical device. Let's measure the particles now and bring in the AirSource and close the door to see what
happens."He further stated that these facilities were especially clean since they had several cleaning devices installed
on their own HVAC system.This meant that we were starting from a cleaner than normal base.
I plugged in the unit,
turned on the switch, and we left the room and closed the door after first getting an average reading of 241,000 ppm (parts
per million) of particulate.We went back to our conference room and chatted for about 10 minutes when he said "Let's
see what happened."
We went to the test room and opened the door and began taking readings.....
To
my VERY PLEASANT surprise the readings were averaging about 112,000 ppm.
I actually saw one reading of 94,000.They
were impressed to say the least since it took only about 10 minutes in this 186 sq. ft. room to bring a clean particulate
reading down by more than 1/2.The salesman that took the readings helped me carry the stuff to my car and asked about the
possibility of selling the units.
It doesn't get much better than this folks. It is exciting!

My AirSource Testimony
Twenty five years ago, I was very ill with bronchial asthma and have had three respiratory
arrests and was on many drugs.
My peak flow, a measure of lung capacity, was 220 and should have been 410. I have
worked at exercising, doing breathing exercises, and taking lots of Shaklee food supplements to get my peak flow to 300 in
those twenty five years.
When I had the AirSource in my home for two months, I checked my peak flow and it was
390. WOW!
It took twenty five years to raise it 80 points and two months to raise it another 90 points with AirSource.

ONE OF THE FIRST

Nine years ago, my birthday present was a cute little kitty named Tigger. He immediately took to me
as "daddy" and always follows me around the house and likes to sleep as close to my head as possible at night. Four
months out of every year, Tigger becomes a ferocius feline bent on killing me (I'm sure of this). What Tigger does during
those long months each year I'm not sure, but I have come to the conclusion it is ultimately for my very destruction so
he can become "daddy"!
It always starts with some slight wheezing on my part to which I ignore and evolves
into itchy eyes, runny and stuffy nose, bronchial tightness and various inhalers I cling to for my next lungful. Every year
I announce after a month or so of gasping for my next breath that "Satan" has to go. This is followed by my kids
sad eyes and tears that tell me I had better think of something else. --iron lung? guest house? fashionable gas mask?
Over the years, I have tried many remedies including allergy medication, homeopathic drops (with actual cat dander
in an alcohol solution - yummy), special filters, and even cat baths every week. The bottom line was that none of these solutions
ever worked. Hence, I am one irritable, no-fun guy for one-third of the year. As I look back on it, I truly do not know how
I survived it. I even thought of leaving the front door open for a very long time to see if the cat might run away or just
take him somewhere real far and just shrug my shoulders when the kids queried on his wherabouts.
At the beginning
of this year's "four months of fun", I was introduced to the Airsource 3,000,000. Okay, maybe only the 3000
but it's worth that much to me. I brought the demo unit home and I could tell the difference that day. No more tight chest,
wheezing, nothing!! No more inhalers!! My wife says that the smells in the house are less too. After a few days of the demo
unit in the house, I knew I had something here. In fact, I refused to give the demo unit back until I could get one in my
house that was all mine. I can not be more thankful for the changes I have experienced as a result of the Airsource 3000.

Subject: Amazing Air Source Testimonial
This was amazing. Our pastor, who bought an Air Source unit
after it had killed crawl space mold in the parsonage, mentioned that she was bringing it to church with her Easter Sunday,
because the massed flowers often triggered her asthma attacks. (She had two severe ones just after moving into the parsonage,
unaware of the basement mold). Connie offered to take another unit to church and place it near the flowers. Saturday afternoon,
we put it on the floor beside the altar which was filled with a variety of potted plants of the season....all in full and
colorful bloom. Hiding the unit behind a potted palm, we urned it on and left it there overnight.
After church
we inquired how it had worked. Our pastor said she had brought her unit with her, but inadvertently left it in her car. She
had absolutely no adverse reactions to the flowers! I went up to retrieve the unit, and the minister of music and several
choir members were puzzled about this unusual device, finally deciding it was something to preserve the flowers. I gave them
the straight story. As I was leaving, with the unit in the carrying case, I mentioned to the leader of the brass ensemble
that "I'm carrying my trumpet and I'm crushed that I wasn't invited to play." (I don't know a note
of music). We bantered a bit, and then I told him what was in the case (which, by the way, looks amazingly similar to some
of the modern instrument cases used by musicians). He was astounded. He said "No wonder I didn't get stuffy; normally
I do when I'm that close to so many flowers for an extended period. The French Horn player told me she didn't get
stuffy either."
(By then, she had left).
So.......for whatever it may be worth......there's another positive
application of Air Source. Your mind can run the gamut of possibilities.....Funeral Homes, Florist Shops.....and on and
on.
